(Source:  GoodReads ) If I was in charge of what kind of books kids should read in school (which SADLY I am not), I'd say they should read this one. This is a an incredibly insightful novel, of what life for some children is like, the lives of kids we don't really hear an awful lot about. But we should hear about them, because they exist and this it's real and important. This book will tear your soul and heart apart and you'll shed a tea...
